Loes Rusch is a lecturer in music history and artistic research at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Her fields of interest include identity formation, post colonialism, artistic research, cultural politics, and cultural heritage.

Dr. Loes Rusch is a teacher of classical music history at the Jazz Department of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Additionally she is a researcher at both the Classical and Jazz Departments and co-developer of the bachelor’s research programme at the Jazz Department.

Dr. Loes Rusch is docent klassieke muziekgeschiedenis aan de jazzafdeling van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Ook is ze onderzoekscoördinator aan zowel de klassieke als de jazzafdeling en mede-ontwikkelaar van het bacheloronderzoeksprogramma aan de jazzafdeling.

Dr. Loes Rusch is docent muziekgeschiedenis en artistiek onderzoek, verbonden aan de jazzafdeling van het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag en het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Ook is ze faculteitslid van het artistiek doctoraalprogramma DocArtes, onderdeel van het Orpheus Instituut in Gent.

Loes Rusch is a lecturer in music history and supervisor/coordinator of artistic research at both the Conservatory of Amsterdam and the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Rusch obtained her MA in Musicology from the University of Amsterdam and her BMus (jazz saxophone) from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, NL.

Rusch studied Musicology at the University of Amsterdam and baritone saxophone with Ferdinand Povel and Jasper Blom at the CvA Jazz Department. She obtained her doctorate in 2016 with a cultural-historical research project on jazz and improvised music in the Netherlands.
