2024年12月2日 · AFAIK, what has been reported here and elsewhere, is if connected via Bluetooth to a Mac running older macOS versions, the USB-C Magic Trackpad displays various issues. For example, scrolling won’t work, and single-finger tracking, to move the cursor around, isn’t consistent. Even trying to set the trackpad speed also fails in some cases.

People are absolutely insane here. I have both the trackpad and magic mouse - the trackpad collects dust while the MM gets used every day for the past 8 years. I do heavy creative work on the mac. Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Ableton, Xcode, Sibelius, etc for 8-12 hours a day.

2020年4月24日 · I bought the magic trackpad for the gestures; but I think I should've searched for a mouse with gestures. With trackpad, my hand can't rest & the wrists aren't comfortable bcoz the hand is in a raised position always. I've changed the trackpad settings to touch instead of click. Dragging & dropping was a bit difficult with click on trackpad.

2022年7月20日 · I have to use a Microsoft Surface for work and it actually has pretty good gesture support, so I wanted a nice trackpad for when I'm hooked up to an external monitor - same way I use my macs. I looked hard and there's nothing. I did manage to get my Magic Trackpad working with my MS Surface, but that's another story.

TL,DR: Magic Mouse bad, Magic Trackpad good. I work as a software developer so I can totally live with a trackpad, but if you need need a mouse I’d wholeheartedly recommend the Logitech MX Master. 2022年10月29日 · So the main point is, you connect Magic Trackpad with bluetooth FIRST and only after that you install drivers. If you install drivers first, no bluetooth for you. I can use anything I want, and I choose to use Magic Trackpads because that is the best experience for me when using a Mac. I do have a few mice which I keep for when I decide to game for example, but the Magic Trackpad covers 99% of everything I do on my desktop.
