2014年1月8日 · Hi guys.There is this super expensive doe listed on MAX Boer Goats. She is priced at a whooping $3000 dollars (wowzahh) and is dappled herself. Her design and pattern is beautiful in my eyes, but then again that is not what is important. She was also bred, and is pregnant, to their IMAX 3-D who is in fact an ennobled dappled buck! :shock:

2011年7月12日 · I've always loved anything from Bon Joli boer goats. I wish Fern Hollow Farm was still raising boers, they were some of the best. Bon Joli, Fern Hollow Farm, CGL Farm (branch off of T4 Ranch, love them) and Max Boer Goats have some of the best dappled/polka dot/spotted boers. T4 Ranch was I believe the original.

2011年7月15日 · It states on Max Boer Goats page about spots, that since the boer goat is a developed breed, not an existing species, that it is definitly possible to have fullblood, 100% boer goats with spots, that don't have a lick of Nubian in them.

2013年3月28日 · Here is some info I copied off of MAX Boer goats website...it might help. "First generation full blood spotted and dappled goats are cropouts. A cropout is an animal with a sire and dam who both appeared to have been non-spotted. There are multiple genetic reasons that may cause a goat to be a cropout, originating from recessive spotted lineage.

2018年9月9日 · He has a lot of color in his genetics, problem with goats like him, MAX Boer Genetics USED to only breed for the dapple factor, and different colors. As long as you use very wide based, deep bodied, long bodied does, he SHOULD be a good buck. All of this comes with personal experience and seeing some of their goats in person.

2014年2月7日 · Going with very well known names is not always the best. I thought I hit it great when I bought a son of one of max Boer goats. Come to find out that line is very common. I just spoke to a lady a month back about buying each others doelings and co.e to find out my kids and hers are very related.

2012年10月28日 · Well it's a meat cross. The result will probably be something larger than a pygmy, but quite a bit smaller than a boer...in between basically. I've seen a nigerian/boer cross so kinda going off of that. The ears could be partially floppy or large airplane like. You can probably find some examples on google. I have no idea what sex you should get.
