The Mexico City Metro (Spanish: Metro de la Ciudad de México, lit. 'Metro of the City of Mexico') is a rapid transit system that serves the metropolitan area of Mexico City, including some municipalities in the State of Mexico.

The metro in CDMX, known by some as the Collective Transport System (STC), consists of 12 lines and 195 stations serving DF and the state of Mexico over its 225 km route. It operates daily from 5:00 to 24:00, although the opening hours vary slightly on weekends and holidays. The price of a single ticket is 5 pesos.
