The move away from the old working uniform included a replacement for not only the jacket and cap, but also the venerable chambray shirt and dungaree trousers. The new uniform consisted of a utility jacket, utility cap, utility jumper (long and short sleeve) and utility trousers.

There was the Navy Type I Working Uniform in 2008 — the “Blueberries” — which adopted the digital camouflage trend but also, you know, worked very well at blending in anyone wearing the uniform with the sea.

2008年12月29日 · NAVY GRAY UNIFORMS - gray uniforms in the same style as khaki were first introduced on 16 April 1943 as an officers uniform. On 3 June 1943 the uniform was extended to include Chief Petty Officers. On 31 March 1944 cooks and stewards were permitted to wear the gray uniform. The Navy abolished use of "grays" on 15 October 1949.

2024年12月13日 · I scrolled through a ton of photos on the Navy Band Facebook page, of which I found exactly one photo of this type being worn. The aiguilette on this uniform is on the opposite side of the Chief's, but there's no holes or wear to indicate it was ever worn on that side. Likewise, no holes in the collar for rank insignia being worn.

2018年9月30日 · It was made of either double knit or garbadine material. The original CG service dress blue uniform, from '76 to about '86 was either garbadine or optional doubleknit. The winter blue was an undress blue uniform, worn only with collar insignia and a necktie. Sometime in the mid 1980s the CG added ribbons and it became a winter dress uniform..

New Navy Uniform changes As these uniforms come online, the Reagan era changes will be retired, much like the Army BDU's and cammies of the last 20 years. Something else to start collecting now, while they're cheap.
