We are the only lodge on the lake and in our area, accessible by floatplane only. At the main lodge we are surrounded by over fifty lakes. Come and experience catch and release fishing at it’s finest!

Your trip includes float plane flight to and from the lodge, guide for the hunt, boat, motor, gas, fantastic home cooked meals, lodging (in cabins), and flying your entire Moose out. The season begins the middle of September each year.

Beautiful sunsets, spectacular scenery, and magnificent northern lights are the setting for your fishing and hunting adventures at Northern Lights Lodge. We are located above the 56th parallel, 44 air miles SW of Lynn Lake, Manitoba, which is the sport fishing capital of Manitoba, or 500 air miles northwest of Winnipeg.

At Northern Lights Lodge, we employ a catch, photo, and release rule, thus keeping this fabulous fishing experience alive for generations to come. Our lakes have just been designated as high quality management lakes.

Northern Lights Lodge is located 44 air miles SW of Lynn Lake, where the floatplane picks you up. Lynn Lake is accessible by road. It is approximately a 700-mile drive from Winnipeg. We also have charter flights available for those who would like to fly from Winnipeg.

For those wanting to be on their own, we presently have one outcamp on Plumbtree Lake. This lake is fourteen miles long and there is one portage lake with a boat and motor on it. The portage is about a four minute walk. These lakes have Northern, Walleye, and Lake Trout. John & Lori spend about a month a year at this cabin making improvements.
