However, when it's a recognizable property like Sonic, it ends up looking "cursed" and uncanny-valley, especially if not animated properly or with unfinished animation like in the 1st trailer. If only they fixed the eyes and replaced the human teeth, maybe we wouldn't need a whole redesign.
