2019年10月22日 · The early 1100's had an aluminum part that was between the action spring and the link that would sometimes bend, creating extra drag that would cause 'funky functioning' w/the lighter loads and was difficult to diagnose when it happened. Remington was aware of it and came out w/a steel replacement part that eliminated the problem.

2011年4月9日 · Upon dropping the trigger assembly I found the broken off tab from the forend support. I replaced the forend support with a new part ordered from Brownells for about $10 and the gun has been functioning fine since then. You may want to take a look at your forend support since the 1100 and 11 87 are very similar models. Brad Korando
Failure to Extract / Eject with Remington 1100 Classic Trap
2015年2月12日 · Take a look at the action sleeve to see if it is cracked under where the action bars snap on. I have found this to be the problem on a couple of 1100's that were clean, had new o rings and piston rings correctly assembled, new springs, etc, yet still failed to function reliably. Brownells and Midway Arms have replacements for a little over $40.
Remington 1100 Barrel Mod? - Trapshooters Forum
2024年12月18日 · Don't let that bother you. The barrels are interchangeable and Remington and Mossberg sold barrels for these guns, among others. I have 3 barrels for my 870 and switch them as needed. Unless you're OCD about "matching numbers" (which won't help you kill a clay or a duck) then go grab it!

It wasn't until later production a stepped-up target rib barrels was introduced and Monte Carlo stocks added to the receivers. Field grade barrels were still produced with the flat rib and the old stove pipe barrels with a single bead were eliminated.

2024年7月3日 · As P3AT stated, all Remington 1100 barrels are interchangeable within the same gauge. There is a small caveat. Very early 1100s used a hand-fitted forend support. I've seen one occasion where barrels wouldn't swap due to a clearance issue on the forend support. Swapping to a newer style forend support fixed the problem.
1100 action spring too long? - Trapshooters Forum
2015年12月25日 · I have replaced action springs on my 1100 comp and 1100 28 gauge sporting in the past with with no problem. I use the Remington F15252 action spring, which Remington claims works on all 11oos. On my dads older 11oo field, this5 F15252 action spring is way too long, it would barely go in and once in the action only pulls back 1/2 way.
Remington 1100 trigger issue - Trapshooters Forum
2025年1月2日 · I recently acquired a 1970s era 1100 20 gauge. It had jamming issues, so I removed the barrel and trigger assembly and gave it and the inside of the receiver a thorough cleaning. After reassembly, the trigger is dead. The trigger assembly works fine outside the gun, and it functions normally when the barrel is removed from the receiver.
