The airport locations charge more. For instance, I can rent an economy or compact for the entire month of July for $760.02 including all taxes and fees using my corporate discount.

Depending on where in Texas you are, it may be cheaper to rent at home. Or also check one way rentals (check both directions). You never know. I was recently able to rent an suv for 2 weeks in KC and return it in Florida for cheaper then I could fly to florida. - because Florida car rentals were increasing inventory for the winter.

It doesn't make sense to rent a car for a month and only use it a few days per week. Sure, a $600 per month car sounds like a good deal (around $20 per day), but if you are only driving it 3 times per week, that turns into $50 per day. Weekend bookings are typically cheaper too.

Now if you have an older potential unreliable car then maybe it makes sense. But you have a modern car that's 1-7 years old there probably isn't really much of a benefit unless it's prone to issues. Now if you have a small car and need to fit a few people and luggage then I can see the benefit in renting a larger car to be more comfortable.

2023年1月19日 · Even if you rent 4 days a month, it's highly unlikely that your rental costs are going to be more than $300 a month (plus gas), and it could easily be far less than that. Make sure you have a credit card that offers primary-coverage insurance on car rentals, and always pay for your rentals with that card and decline the rental coverage.

2021年10月6日 · If it's a month - you may find it cheaper to combine alternatives (Uber / Lyft for short trips, Zipcar if available for a few hours, and a car rental / Turo for situations when you need a car for longer distance travel). For longer periods (3 months) - may make more sense to get a beater, and "trade it in" when you look for a more permanent option.

2023年5月16日 · Try to search for 28 days exactly (4 weeks) on Priceline/autoslash for car rentals. This is because most places won't rent more than 30 days, and have weekly rental deals so 4 weeks works good. Repeat for next month etc, so have 3-6 separate reservations. You'll have to return car/get new one once every 28 days but will make savings.

2021年3月6日 · I was able to put in a discount code from Corporate Shopping to get a car for about $1000 per month for 3 months. It's from Budget and picked up at Tampa International Airport. You might be able to find better pricing by renting from a non-airport location but $1000 per month is still a lot.

2020年8月31日 · I need a car for 6 months or so as I am waiting to buy a car of my choice (RAV4 prime - which is not available widely yet) and was wondering what's the cheapest no hassle way to rent a car for few months. Looked at enterprise and alike and most of them are too costly. Same with turo or get around. Fair app seemed nice but down payment is too much.
