Austin Sheltie Rescue Adopted Shelties Mable – Adopted February 2024. 0 Comments. Mable came to us with Tilly. She is a 39 lb, 1.5-year-old, female. Both girls were owner surrenders and appear to have been outside dogs. They have begun housetraining and leash training. Both are very sweet but a bit unsure of the recent changes.

Collie rescue transferred Dougal, an oversized sheltie to us and we flew him from Ft Worth to Austin. He is 7 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventive, and soon to have a dental.

Riley is a 9-year-old sheltie that has been neglected. It appears he has thyroid issues, a dry brittle coat, is overweight, and that telltale yeasty smell. He has worn marks on his back from a too-tight harness.

Jeffrey is now back in our program as a Special Sheltie, he will be having surgery to remove the stones and will be on a special diet for the rest of his life. Jeffrey is a 7 year old, mahogany sable and white owner surrender.
