In peacetime, the Sov refits, like the 051B refit, carries the 052D ESM mast, so when it comes to processing signals they are as good as any 052D.

The Sovremenny is fitted with a Chinese Type 364 radar on the aft black mast, which is the same radar you see on top of the Type 052C. Previous to the refit, the Sovremenny has no equivalent to the Type 364 that was fitted there.
