2021年10月26日 · Star Fleet Battles was licensed from Franz Joseph (now his estate as he's deceased) and the info used for those games is the material from the Star Fleet Technical Manual (Circa 1975). He sued and got his work on that declared his based on how the contracts for it were done at the time Paramount commissioned the work.

2002年8月27日 · So STAR FLEET BATTLES could only use the materials that were present in the TECHNICAL MANUAL. Which is why SFB has a USS ENTERPRISE but never mentions Spock or Kirk, and why the SFB universe is locked into the continuity of the oldest Trek series (no Borg, no Ferrengi, no NextGen, etc.).

2024年7月28日 · The game Star Trek timelines has boss battles against the Planet Killer (AKA "The Doomsday Machine" from TOS). It needs to be attacked by several players from the fleet to be destroyed, and even then the damage is minimal. But I can do more damage with the "Combo chain", the characters selected for the attacking ship.

2007年10月14日 · The origional Zocchi miniatures that were origiojnally packaged as the Starline 2200 SFB line are still available at the home site for Star Fleet Battles. I just had a friend a couple of weeks ago buy some. But you have to buy the Fed Fleet box #2 to get them.

2008年6月16日 · Star Fleet Battles was ratehr hard when I first played back in 1982. But I did have a large group of experienced players who were kind to invite me into their fleet games. So I learned by playing in the middle of seasoned veterans of the game at that time.

2008年7月27日 · Mostly a committed Fed Player here. I mostly played against Klingons in fleet actions. One on one duels sabre dancing and trying to prevent jockeying for the shield boundry between the #6 shield and the #1 shield was often a challenge to prevent the "Klingon Hook" if you were not fully paying attention to what your opponent was doing.

2017年6月5日 · The Star Stream class booklet of General plans has be done up to be printed on 11x17 sheets. Any thing larger requires a plotting service or purchasing a plotter. Architectural C size or Ansi C is a nice as is D size I started out hand drafting on C and D paper Cygnus.net has my c size work up on his site.
