2023年1月3日 · The Starlink router connects via WiFi as WAN to my Peplink router where I can select Starlink, cellular or RV park WiFi (or combinations there of) & distribute the signal throughout the RV. IMO, the proprietary Starlink connectors do not lend themselves to any type of permanent installation. So far I've been more than pleased with Starlink.

2022年2月9日 · I paid a guy $250 for a temporary install. He had to come from over an hour away, which jacked up the price. A local satellite company is going to do the permanent install once I can get the correct mounting hardware.

2024年7月27日 · Finished up the perma-install on our OpenRoad 31SA. Used the Trio Flatmount with the mounting pads for the dish and routed the cable into the cab via the radio antenna entry point. The Gen3 router and power supply was mounted above the passenger compartment false cabinet with some cheap Amazon wall mounts. Took about an hour to install.

2024年7月18日 · StarLink Install The weatherproof Connector for the CAT seems like the perfect solution and I think I will try to run it in the location for the Satellite/Cable TV jack is. The next chore will be to find the best rooftop Solution mount-wise. or just go with setting the Starling on the ground...that solution scares me in the possible theft ...

Personally, I have no other options. I live in a remote area and my best connection before Starlink was 3 Mbps Down and 0.5 Mbps Up. Yes, Starlink is way better, but it is not what was claimed and promoted and the price is high for what you get, considering they bumped the price up 11% to $110 a month three days after I got my unit.
