Currently, there are 17 different types of seeds, 7 of which are grass seeds and 7 of which are herb seeds. Acorns can be planted in any type of grass except Mushroom grass. Grass Seeds can only be planted on Dirt/Mud Blocks. They cannot be planted over other types of grass.
