He and I have done some short stuff. We are limiting where we go to 45mph (maybe 40mph) and below (a stretch for a 50cc, I think).

2024年12月4日 · I worked for the company that developed the speed controllers for Walmart handicap scooters. Sure, we could tweak the software to make the carts drive 20MPH, but WHY?..... Doing so, is downright dangerous for the intended application. The same holds true for "golf" carts in The Villages.

2024年7月15日 · We have a ladies group called, “Hooters on Scooters” actually the scooters are trail bike motorcycles. The ladies wear full armour for the sport but have fun with name. It's my firm belief that we (old folks nearing the end) should focus a lot more on having fun, joking around, poking fun at ourselves and our friends than we typically do.

2023年6月18日 · In fact, I wish the District would prohibit any MOTORIZED device that exceeds 10 MPH (this would allow disabled or handicap scooters to still use the walking and bike trails). In reality, the e-bikes and some of the scooters travel as fast or faster than most golf carts (I have been passed going 21mph in my cart by e-bikes numerous times.)

2021年1月12日 · Villages Discount Carts has an option for shopping with a YAMAHA golf cart, it provides a large cooler for frozen stuff, and as I recall a flat space with sides for bagged groceries, so as indicated above you have options.

2023年12月22日 · There are plenty on the Lake County side of The Villages, and they are open to pedestrians, bicycles, golf carts, electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and roller (or inline) skaters. I was just stating what I heard was the reason that the path along Megisson, passing Newell, Lake Denham and down to Dabney, does not allow golf carts.
