2008年8月8日 · Weatherby rifles, yes, but not shotguns. Unless things have changed, Weatherby does not have a manufacturing facility that makes O/U Shotguns. Their guns are manufactured by another company and sold under the Weatherby name. You should find out which company is manufacturing the Weatherby Orion and that will tell you a lot about the quality.

2024年11月17日 · For this purpose, I think the Weatherby Orion Sporting is a good gun - well reviewed, 5 year warranty, and a lot of gun for the money. After a couple years I can upgrade, or if I decide an O/U isn’t for me, less sting than if I’d spent B gun money.

2024年10月26日 · The parallel on these chokes is 1-1/4 inches, versus ~3/4 inch in flush-mounts. Briley will make a set of flush-mounts for an Orion s x s, as well as factory issued chokes for your Orion, Briley uses 17-4 (PH, ?) stainless. Screw-in chokes are new to me, this Orion is my first experience with them. It's convenient, but I still like fixed chokes.

2010年12月5日 · A Mod. DU2013 is the same gun as a Weatherby Orion D'Itialia. Bass Pro shop ad for $899 was a blued base gun without embellishments and Kevin Cherry imported the DU guns. Price range $1250 to $2250 for some DU birds. This is the same as 2013 "Elegant" in Moscow Arms and Hunting show, with embellishments.

2016年5月29日 · Weatherby Orion has gone thru many makes, SKB, Fausti not ATA in Turkey. Been to Turkey once and was not too impressive, they gave me pot with water for a rest room in a hole in the ground, and chase mea nad my wife down the street on a rug. My SKB Weatherby Ahena is a good gun; got a DU2009 Fausti (Tradition) cheap and thought I try the Teal.
