The History of Acorn: Our Story. Here at Acorn Sign, we have a diverse history with over the past 50 years. Originally founded in 1964, we began as “Acorn Sales and Stamps” and operated mostly as a stamp company.

One of our goals here at Acorn is to educate our clients and industries related to signage about our work and processes. We talked with our VP of Production, Jim Gray, for an in-depth overview of our manufacturing process so we can share what goes into fabricating signage.

We strive to manufacture high-quality signs with sustainable materials in order to extend the life of our products and prevent the creation of more landfill waste, which in turn is more cost-effective for our clients when they purchase quality, long-lasting signage from Acorn.
