2021年7月12日 · From the roof to my scanner there are10m (32ft). The first 3m (10ft) will be the cable of the antenna and I am adding a BNC cable extension to the Scanner. Questions: 1) If the extension is a 50 Ohms BNC cable, the signal remains powerful? 2) If the extension is a 70 Ohms BNC cable, the signal that remains is better than a 50Ohms BNC cable? Thanks.

2025年1月3日 · Or, run the LMR-400 down to the hole in the wall, and then transition to a smaller cable with a BNC on the end. A male BNC is about 9/16" diameter. Or, use a SMA connector, and that'll fit through the hole no issue. Lots of ways to do this.

2011年11月5日 · BNC's for RG-8x are a lot easier to find than 'F'. If you don't mind another suggestion, use a cable with less loss than RG-8x. You will loose half of your signal in your splitter (a lot more if you just use a 'T' connector) and 8x already has bunches of loss. There are a lot of sites that list cable characteristics so do a search.

2019年7月20日 · Came with 5 male BNC connectors and 5 PL259, seemingly for RG58. I think I’ve decided my NMO install will be with LMR-200 and a right-angle BNC which is a solder connector, so I just need it to crimp the ferrule in place over the coax.
