2014年2月12日 · I hadn't seen any threads about issues with the FFR-supplied dash and interference with dash hoops. Plenty out there about custom dash layouts and both the hoops and the vertical brace. Has anyone experienced this with the MK4? I know the Manual shows the hoop corners 3/16" low with the hoop getting lower in the middle.

2023年12月26日 · My FFR padded dash has the street layout, and the speedo gauge could have been 1/8" lower to provide clearance to the body. Don't forget about how the body will fit over the top of the dash and that things will move over time.

2023年3月18日 · Does anyone know where I can find a cad drawing for the standard FFR dash layout (instrument placement)? I have found drawings for the competition dash, but not the stock dash. Mk 4 complete kit w/IRS delivered (mostly) 10-31-22. BPE 347FI w/TXK. First start July 2023. Completed build February 2024. Officially legal 05-17-2024.

2015年12月6日 · General layout looks OK, but your best course of action is to clamp the dash into the chassis and temporarily put a seat in, hold the steering wheel where it will end up and see for yourself if things will work where you've laid them out. If you have AutoCAD, I can send you the full-size layout I did for mine.
