Dec 2, 2024 · The idea for the mobility system is simple when you think about it normally, where I want it to grapple onto rope constraints and parts (meant to be powerlines and streetlights), but I’m not sure how I should actually detect if the player’s grappling hook is in contact with the rope constraint. Using the touched function is kinda buggy too.

Jun 3, 2023 · From there its just a case of adding in Touch Detection to the graple and then adding in a rope or something connecting the grapple and the tool and changing the size of it, another thing to consider is if you wanted the grapple to be more involved you can add in animations or do some funny stuff like ragdolling the character while grappling.
