The sad part, in my mind, is that Mitsubishi - the apparent king of mini-split HVAC systems - doesn't seem to be training their people at the component level. The lack of proper electronic symbols on their schematic drawings makes that pretty clear. EDIT: I forgot to mention that this system is less than 10 years old.

Mar 13, 2023 · The Mitsubishi Hyper Heat Mini Splits seem to be living up to their reputation—impressive performance, especially in challenging temperatures. It's great to hear that your initial experience has exceeded expectations.

We love our Mitsubishi mini splits but only use them for AC, not heat. I'd suggest taking a video of the sound so your HVAC technician can hear what's happening. We do hear occasional little pops or the sound of water but that's typically from the condensate pump.

You all are such experts, what is your opinion of the Mitsubishi Ductless hyper heat mini splits?

Sep 28, 2021 · Same issue with my Mitsubishi Electric 5.1 kW. Fan ticking noise. Installed Dec 2020. Noise started about 6 months ago. Pushing the unit at the bottom helps to stop it, but it is now returning more and more. This unit replaced a Panasonic 7.1 kW unit installed July 2019. The fan ticking noise was extreme and just got worse.
