The National Museum of the United States Army celebrates over 245 years of Army history and honors our nation’s Soldiers—past, present and future—the regular Army, the Army Reserve and the Army National Guard.

The National Army Museum is the current home of an unprecedented collection of Japanese American artifacts, including the Nisei Soldiers of World War II Congressional Gold Medal, that capture their rarely-told story.

The Franconia-Springfield Metro Station, on the blue line, is the closest station to the Museum. From the metro station, take Fairfax County Connector Bus Route 334, which includes a stop at the Museum.

Museum docents provide free guided tours at 10:15 a.m. and 1:15 pm daily. These tours visit the Fighting for the Nation Galleries for approximately 50 minutes. Visit the Welcome Desk to request a free tour ticket.

Admission to the Museum is free and advance ticket reservations are encouraged. Children under 2 years of age do not require a ticket. Walk-up tickets also are available on-site.
