2016年5月6日 · My wife bought the LG G5 about 10 days ago. We started having problems with it charging a day or so ago. Last night I unplugged the usb-c charging cable from the phone and it was smoking. The rubber around the had plug melted. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or heard of this...

We need a special Samsung USB cable to charge at 2amps?
2013年5月29日 · The cable that Samsung provides is a normal USB cable. They short together the data lines in the charger. This charger does not have the data lines shorted together so you have to buy a special cable that only works for charging. It doesn't really have anything to do with Samsung, this is the normal implementation of higher current charging on USB.

2014年1月30日 · What I have observed for MOTO E is the USB cable can be used for data connection and charging. But NOT in XP OS based system where it is only transferring data, where as in Windows 7 based system the Phone is charging as well as transferring data
Charging cable does not seat all the way into phone.
2015年11月19日 · The cable barely makes a connection and falls out with the slightest of movement or vibration. EDIT: Okay so it turns out there was a surprisingly large amount of lint in there. Surprising to me at least since I have never had this issue with any other phone or it never became a problem at least.

I would think you could hack together a 3A cable from broken cable scraps pretty easily. Anything more than that will probably require an additional ID ...

Sometimes I see the female micro usb is for charging the EXTERNAL device and not the android device (external power for hdd) itself.
