Today I practice the traditional batik canting technique used in Malaysia and Indonesia to draw Spiderman. I noticed Spiderman is so popular in Malaysia, it seems all the kids, boys and girls, would wear Spiderman clothes all the time. I imagine him swinging around the streets in Kuala Lumpur. In my batik learning journey, the most difficult skill is still to control the wax temperature which must be constant throughout the canting process.
