Steal my strategy of teaching horses to come up to the mounting block! 🤯 1️⃣ First things first, make sure your horse is desensitized to whatever tool you’ll be using, whether it’s a flag, the lead rope, or a stick. Make sure they’re comfortable with it but also know how to be responsive to it. 2️⃣ Next, focus on teaching the horse that the mounting block is a place of comfort.
