In 1987, a theme park called @LunaLuna built entirely by artists—including #JeanMichelBasquiat, #KeithHaring, and #DavidHockney—enchanted Hamburg, Germany for several months. Then it disappeared. Now, after being reborn in Los Angeles, the ‘Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy’ art carnival has landed at @theshedny in New York. “What we’re hoping is that the experience is something like seeing the original,” the show’s curatorial adviser told W last year.
