I’ve built six Baker Rifles but this is my first Cavalry Carbine. . This carbine is about half the size as its big brother which makes the build a lot easier in some aspects and more difficult in others. . The next steps will be installing the nose cap and fitting the lock plate into the lock mortise. After that I’ll spend some in the machine shop building the lock. .
