When I wanted to learn how to do a pull up, I wish someone would have told me... To focus on the things I could do. The foundation of a pull up is our ability to hang from the pull up bar. We can start hanging from the bar and using our feet as needed to assist us. And we can progress to "bar hangs" without using our feet as assistance (ideally, build up to at least 60 second hangs).
