Kedarnath is revered as a manifestation of Shiva, known as the 'Lord of Kedarkhand'. Located in the Garhwal Himalayas, close to the Mandakini River, it lies within the state of Uttarakhand, India. The temple is believed to have been constructed around 1000 A.D., which ranks it among the oldest surviving Hindu temples. According to Hindu mythology, the Pandavas, the legendary heroes of the Indian epic Mahabharata, built the Kedarnath Temple. After the Kurukshetra War, where they fought against th
