🤔 What is an ALIF surgery? 👉 ALIF stands for Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion. It's a procedure performed through the abdomen to fuse multiple vertebral bodies together. This anterior (front) approach is preferred for lumbar fusion due to better outcomes and higher fusion rates.
