Who were the Moon-Eyed People of the Appalachians? According to legend, they were in the Appalachians well before the Cherokee ever arrived in the area. Some believe they could be some type of faefolk, or cryptid, while others think the Welsh may have traveled to North America hundreds of years before anyone thought was possible.
