Today is World Orangutan Day, a day to appreciate the “men of the forest,“ the remarkable primates who defy gravity, spending their lives in the treetops. Orangutans are found only in the rain forests of the Southeast Asian islands of Borneo and Sumatra, the latter inscribed on the UNESCO #WorldHeritage List since 2004.
