In the movie "Urban Cowboy" Bud is being led around inside of Gilley's by his uncle and introduced to his friends. One point in the movie while walking through the place, the music on the stage catches Bud's attention and he asks his Uncle who's singing. His Uncle replies... "That's Mickey Gilley himself.
