I don’t know that I would recommend “exposure therapy” in general, but for building up my tolerance to lights & sounds, it surprisingly has helped a whole lot! I feel like having a stroke, though there have been a lot of difficult changes and deficits, also permanently changed how I hear music. Its something I enjoy SO much more than I ever did before.
